Job summary

Hire Fellows in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead a fast-growing production team across cake artistry, decorating, baking, chocolate, and stewarding. You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage production against order volumes, and drive quality, safety, and cost control in a high-volume kitchen.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional kitchen or food production experience.
• Experience managing a multi-section kitchen, bakery, or high-volume facility.
• Expert-level cake production and decoration skills (fondant and cake craft).
• Strong leadership, coaching, and staff development abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail with solid food-safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all kitchen and production sections.
• Manage daily production plans and ensure orders are completed on time.
• Monitor recipe adherence and finished-product quality against standards.
• Identify and resolve quality issues before products reach dispatch.
• Manage kitchen inventory levels in collaboration with Procurement and Inventory teams.
• Build and adjust staff schedules based on daily order volumes.
• Lead, coach, and hold section heads and teams accountable for performance.
• Enforce food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards across the facility.
• Work cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing on launches and planning.
