In this cross-trained role, you will move between decorating and baking as production volume requires, uphold food safety standards, and collaborate with the wider team to meet tight deadlines with consistency and freshness.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of cake decorating or related production experience.
• Hands-on decorating skills: piping, drawing, finishing.
• Basic to solid baking experience: mixing, portioning, baking.
• Ability to switch between decorating and baking as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to recipes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out piping, drawing, finishing on assigned cakes.
• Assist senior decorators with high-volume orders.
• Support baking-line activities: mixing, portioning, baking.
• Follow standard recipes and decorating guidelines.
• Move between decorating and baking sections as needed.
• Ensure cakes meet quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Observe food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Flag shortages or issues to the section lead.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines.
