Job summary

Qatar Airways Group is seeking an experienced aviation technology leader to shape the future of passenger processing at Hamad International Airport. You will lead strategy, delivery and 24/7 operational performance of critical passenger-processing technologies from check-in to boarding.

The role drives biometrics, digital identity and seamless single-token travel, collaborating with airlines, government bodies and technology partners to deliver world-class passenger experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years IT management experience.
• At least 8 years in aviation, airport operations or passenger-processing technology.
• 3+ years implementing biometric identity verification, digital ID or seamless-travel solutions.
• Exposure to ICAO/IATA/ACI standards advantageous.
• Fluent English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3–5 year strategy and technology roadmap for passenger-processing systems, biometrics and identity solutions.
• Lead programmes covering common-use passenger processing, self-service check-in, biometrics and boarding systems.
• Own end-to-end system implementations, upgrades and lifecycle management.
• Ensure 24/7 availability and performance of mission-critical passenger systems.
• Direct incident response and rapid restoration of passenger-processing operations.
• Collaborate with airlines, government bodies and technology providers.
• Manage budgets, procurement, and governance for technology investments.
