Job summary

Saipem Qatar seeks an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join the Engineering Fixed Facilities Department in Doha. You will respond to the Instrumentation Manager and perform design, checking, layout definition, installation drawings, and material definition for process instrumentation and safety elements.

Key tasks include developing cost estimates, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring QA/QC and HSE compliance across all project phases.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering (preferred).
5+ years EPC experience in instrumentation.
Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

Develop instrumentation elements, quantities for cost and erection estimates.
Review client technical documentation and requirements.
Coordinate subcontracted engineering activities and control subcontracted documents.
Prepare instrumentation data sheets, specifications, installation drawings, and BOQs/MTOs.
Provide technical support to the Project Team and ensure QA/QC and HSE compliance.
Optimize instrumentation design to minimize cost and complexity while meeting contractual and safety requirements.
