Job summary

Worley Doha is seeking a Principal Instrumentation Engineer to lead instrumentation and control activities on offshore oil & gas projects. You will plan budgets and schedules, ensure team coverage, and drive adherence to engineering standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities include leading I&C meetings, coordinating with disciplines, and progressing deliverables within budget and schedule. The role requires offshore project experience and strong technical knowledge in DCS, SIL, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering from an accredited university.
• MME accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan man hour budgets, schedules and staffing to satisfy project needs.
• Ensure coverage for vacation and unplanned absences.
• Ensure adherence to engineering practices, regulatory requirements and customer specs.
• Support standardization of equipment specifications, drawings and templates.
• Lead weekly Instrumentation & Control meetings and review progress.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering

MME engineering accreditation

Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status
