Job summary

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Resident Engineer (Utilities/Drainage) to lead supervision of drainage and utility works in Qatar. You will manage site activities, ensure compliance with contract requirements, and coordinate with client and authorities for smooth delivery.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 14 years in construction supervision, including 7 in a similar role, with MMUP/MME certification and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 14 years of construction supervision experience.
• 7 years in a similar Resident Engineer or lead role on utilities/drainage projects.
• Experience supervising drainage, sewer, water and utility infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise utilities and drainage construction activities on the project area.
• Provide technical direction to site supervision teams and ensure safety and quality.
• Coordinate with client, authorities and contractors to resolve interface issues.
• Review technical submissions, shop drawings and method statements for approval.
• Monitor progress, productivity and resources to meet milestones.
• Maintain QA/QC and documentation for project records.
• Support project controls, schedules and risk tracking.
• Assist in commissioning and handover activities.
