Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services in Qatar is seeking an experienced Information Management professional to lead document control on large international projects. You will define technical documentation requirements, ensure timely transfer to asset owners, and support PMT activities.

You will manage information handover, supervise PMT disciplines, compile management reports, and provide daily support on technical documentation and correspondence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Administration.
• 8 years experience in a similar role.
• Significant practical knowledge of hard copy and electronic document control and information management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify technical documentation requirements for maintaining assets post completion and develop a strategy for transfer to asset owners.
• Deliver Information Management activities streamlined from Contractors and Subcontractors to align with Company requirements.
• Lead the PMT team in checking Project Information Handover deliverables to meet Early and Final Deliverable timelines to OESS and Technical Documentation teams.
• Lead IM PMT and contribute to project PMT in compiling periodic management reports.
• Provide general daily assistance to the PMT on technical documentation and correspondence.
• Contribute to development and review of ITT, TBE and clarifications for IM and IT disciplines.
• Ensure adherence of COMPANY and Contractor PMTs to all Policies and Procedures.
• Lead weekly discipline meetings with counterparts from internal disciplines and Contractor organizations.
