Job summary
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE Officer) to join our team on-site in the UAE. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety and implementing risk management strategies.
The candidate will develop and monitor HSE policies, conduct site inspections, provide training, prepare risk assessments and incident investigations, and liaise with authorities to maintain a proactive HSE
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Minimum 13 years HSE experience with UAE site supervision preferred.
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct site inspections and audits for HSE compliance.
- Identify hazards and implement risk controls.
- Provide HSE training and emergency response guidance.
- Prepare HSE documentation including risk assessments and incidents.
- Liaise with regulators and stakeholders on HSE matters.
- Assist in safety plans and emergency response strategies for projects.
- Promote proactive HSE culture through communication and training.
