Job summary

ChainLink Industries Factory in Al-Wukayr, QA is seeking an experienced HSE Officer for a temporary/project-based, full-time on-site role. The candidate will ensure compliance with HSE policies, perform site inspections, manage PTW and risk assessments, and coordinate with authorities and client representatives on HSE matters.

Responsibilities include toolbox talks, inductions, incident investigations, and maintaining HSE documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an HSE/Safety Officer in construction, industrial, fabrication, or project environments.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar HSE requirements and site safety practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures at the project/site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with PTW (Permit to Work), risk assessment, and safe work procedures.
• Monitor workers and subcontractors to ensure adherence to HSE requirements.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and HSE inductions.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare reports.
• Maintain HSE documentation, records, and inspection reports.
• Coordinate with project management and relevant authorities/client representatives on HSE matters.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with site safety requirements.
