Job summary

PPL Dynamics in Doha seeks an Assistant Manager - Corporate HSEQ (Qatari nationals) to implement HSEQ strategy, drive site compliance, and align operations with contractual SLAs.

You will lead and develop site-based resources, provide technical advice, and pursue regulatory standards, management systems, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years experience, with at least 5 years as HSE professional in heavy industry.
• Experience with management accountability of site HSEQ operations.

Responsibilities

• Implement HSEQ strategy and ensure adherence to SLAs within the assigned site.
• Lead and develop site-based HSEQ resources to assure best-practice and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical advice to business units to reduce liability and upgrade operations, while managing systems.

Job description

Position : Assistant Manager - Corporate HSEQ (Qatari nationals)

Job Objective : Implement HSEQ strategy and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements withinthe assigned site through operational management of HSEQ resources.Lead and develop site based operational resources to assure best-practice andregulatory compliance within the designated operational site.Provide technical advice to business unit in order to allow them to reduce liability,operate in legal conformity to contract, upgrade operations, gain or maintaininternational standards and implement management systems.

Education & Professional Qualification:

• - 3-year Full Time Degree in Health and Safety from a recognised institution; or
• - 3-year Full Time Degree (Associated Degree) from a recognised institution and a 2-year Full Time Graduate Diploma in Health and Safety; or
• - 3-year Full Time Degree (Associated Degree) from a recognised institution andNEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety; or
• - 3-year Full Time Degree (Associated Degree) from a recognised institution andChartered member of IOSH

Preferred

• - Auditor qualification (possible Lead Audit) for ISO accreditation framework
• - Root Cause Analysis certification is preferred
• - Training and Assessment qualification at Level 4 or higher is preferred
• - First Aid certification is preferred

Professional Experience:

• - 6 - 9 years of experience of which 5 years as HSE professional in heavy industry
• - At least years of experience with management accountability of site HSEQoperational functions
