Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Horticulturist Engineer to lead horticultural planning, supervision, and quality control for large-scale infrastructure and urban landscape projects. You will ensure planting design and maintenance meet project specifications, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

You will review plant palettes and planting plans for local climate, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture (preferred) or related field.
12 years of experience in large landscape projects.
Experience in arid terrain with plant material suitability.
UPDA/MME registration in Qatar is required.
Experience in GCC region and public realm landscape design.

Responsibilities

Lead horticultural planning, supervision and quality control of landscape works.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and contractors to ensure integrated implementation.
Review plant palettes, planting plans and horticultural specifications for local climate and soil conditions.
Mentor junior landscape/horticulture staff and provide technical guidance.
Prepare technical and inspection reports with visual content.
Support testing, commissioning and handover of landscape areas to clients.
