Job summary

Advanced Construction Technology Services in Doha, QA, is seeking a Soil Improvement Engineer (Geotechnical) for a full-time on-site role. You will lead geotechnical investigations, soil improvement design, and site supervision to ensure adherence to specs and standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing data, calculating designs, and coordinating with stakeholders while mentoring junior staff and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geotechnical or civil engineering.
• 10+ years of total engineering experience.
• 7+ years in geotechnical/soil improvement and foundation works.
• Middle East experience preferred (Qatar/UAE/SA).
• Knowledge of soil mechanics and relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise geotechnical investigations and soil improvement works.
• Review lab data, soil profiles, and test results for design decisions.
• Provide engineering recommendations for foundations and earthworks.
• Design and monitor soil improvement methods (DS, vibro*, stone columns, etc.).
• Prepare calculations, reports, and method statements; ensure QA/QC.
