Job summary

Advanced Construction Technology Services seeks a Senior Soil Improvement Engineer in Doha to lead geotechnical investigations, soil stabilization, and ground improvement projects on site. The role requires extensive experience with soil improvement techniques and project execution, ensuring compliance with international standards and local requirements.

You will coordinate with project managers, structural and civil engineers, surveyors, and clients, delivering technical reports, and mentoring

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in geotechnical/civil/geological engineering or related field.
20+ years of professional engineering experience.
Experience in geotechnical engineering, soil improvement and foundations.
10 years Middle East experience, preferably Qatar/UAE/Saudi/ Oman/Kuwait/Bahrain.
Strong soil mechanics knowledge.
Practical soil investigation & characterization experience.
Experience with ground/soil improvement techniques.
Knowledge of settlement analysis, bearing capacity, consolidation & groundwater.

Responsibilities

Plan, supervise geotechnical investigations and soil improvement activities.
Review investigation data, soil profiles, lab results, groundwater conditions.
Provide engineering recommendations for foundations and earthworks.
Design and monitor soil improvement solutions (dynamic compaction, vibro-compaction, etc.).
Prepare calculations, reports, specifications and technical submissions.
Review contractor proposals, method statements and calculations.
Supervise field implementation and ensure compliance with designs.
