Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• 11–12 years of related experience.
• ACCA, CIMA, CPA-USA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets.
• Oversees the budget liaison with internal stakeholders across the college.
• Guides developing and enhancing reporting templates and reconciliations.
• Oversees in-depth analysis of budget variances and updates forecasts.
• Identifies opportunities for cost optimization and advises leadership.
• Oversees monthly reconciliation against the budget.
• Monitors revenue cycle activities to identify improvements.
• Oversees all accounting transactions to ensure US GAAP compliance.
• Reviews and approves reclassification/correction entries.
• Oversees monthly and annual closing, with documentation for accounts.
• Prepares and presents financial reports including statements and grants packages.
• Leads year-end audit processes with internal and external auditors.
• Manages all intercompany transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Manages grants budgeting, tracking expenditures, and grant requirements.
• Ensures fixed assets records: acquisitions, tagging, disposals, depreciation.
• Drives automation to streamline processes and ensure compliance.
• Oversees monthly KPI reporting of financial indicators.
• Maintains finance policies and stakeholder liaison; responds to queries.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
