Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

We are an international contracting and procurement company engaged in EPC projects and global sourcing activities. We manage procurement and supply operations with suppliers and manufacturers across international markets, including China, the United States and other countries.

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager with strong exposure to accounting, treasury operations, trade finance and FP&A. The successful candidate will be responsible for day to day financial operations, SAP accounting activities, banking and payment administration, trade finance instruments, cash flow management and financial planning and analysis.

The role requires a person who is comfortable both with transactional execution and financial analysis and who can independently manage relationships and operational matters with banks and internal stakeholders.

1. Accounting & SAP

• Perform and supervise day to day accounting activities in SAP, ensuring accurate and timely posting of financial transactions
• Review accounting entries, reconciliations, accruals and supporting documentation
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and correct allocation of transactions across accounts, cost canters and projects
• Support monthly and year end closing activities and preparation of management financial information
• Reconcile bank accounts, treasury transactions and related general ledger balances
• Coordinate with AP, AR and other finance functions to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.

2. Treasury & Banking Operations

• Manage daily treasury operations, including preparation, processing and monitoring of payments
• Prepare and execute payments through corporate banking platforms including QNB, CBQ banking systems
• Ensure appropriate supporting documents, approvals and authorization procedures are completed before payment execution
• Monitor payment status and follow up with banks and internal stakeholders until successful settlement
• Maintain visibility over cash balances, upcoming payments
• Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts and support working capital management

3. Trade Finance

• Manage and administer the company trade finance instruments including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees
• Coordinate issuance, amendment, extension, reduction, cancellation and release of guarantees and LC
• Maintain a complete register of all outstanding trade finance instruments and monitor their validity and expiry dates
• Proactively manage extensions or releases to avoid expired instruments
• Review terms and conditions of Letters of Credit and coordinate amendments with banks, suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders
• Monitor documentation and compliance requirements related to LCs and guarantees
• Coordinate with banks regarding wording, issuance requirements, amendments, claims, releases and cancellation of instruments
• Maintain effective control over the complete payment cycle, from payment request and approval through execution and confirmation
• Ensure payments are processed according to contractual terms, approved budgets and internal authorization matrices
• Coordinate with Procurement, Commercial, Legal and Operations teams where financial or contractual documentation is required

Candidate Requirements

• MA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline
• Strong practical experience across accounting, treasury and FP&A functions
• Hands on experience with SAP is required
• Practical experience with corporate online banking platforms and payment execution, experience with QNB and/or CBQ would be a strong advantage
• Strong knowledge of Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees and other trade finance instruments
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines and financial commitments simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial processes from initiation through completion.
