Job summary

Rheinmetall Barzan Advanced Technologies QSTP-LLC in Qatar seeks a Finance Controller to own the integrity of financial records and be the backbone of a growing finance and commercial function. This hands-on role covers the close, IFRS compliance and reporting, and leads the external audit end-to-end, while partnering on pricing, bids and contract reviews. You will coach and develop the accounting team to ensure clean books year-round.

Qualifications

• Requires professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, ACA or CIMA).
• Strong IFRS knowledge and hands-on ERP experience.
• Proven track record leading external audits.
• Commercial acumen with cost/margin insights for bids/prices.
• Experience in defence/engineering projects and GCC/Qatar exposure welcome.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close and general ledger integrity.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and statutory financial statements.
• Lead external audit end-to-end and deliver timely outcomes.
• Oversee internal controls, group reporting, and tax compliance in Qatar.
• Provide pricing support and cost analysis for bids and contracts.
• Coach and develop the accounting team for sustainable finance.
