Job summary

GDI is seeking a Financial Controller & Reporting Manager in Doha to deliver accurate consolidated financial reporting and analyses supporting strategic objectives. You will oversee the corporate accounting team and ensure compliant, timely reporting across business units.

The role emphasizes ERP/BI system use, process improvement, and leadership of finance professionals. Ideal candidates have a CPA/ACCA/CA, IFRS expertise, and a track record of managing close cycles in a large organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA/ACCA/CMA/CA certification is essential; 10+ years of progressive financial experience.
• IFRS knowledge and familiarity with local tax laws are required.
• Strong ERP experience (Oracle Fusion) and data management expertise.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate all business units’ financial information into corporate reporting.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Develop management reports and provide strategic financial insights.
• Monitor trends, variances and provide explanations with root causes.
• Drive automation of reporting and continuous improvement of finance processes.
• Partner with department leaders to deliver financial insights and accountability.
