Job summary

Commercial Bank Of Qatar is seeking a Senior Manager Tax & Financial Controls to oversee tax compliance, ICOFR, and cost control. You will coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities while guiding a team responsible for accurate financial reporting.

The role requires an accounting qualification (CPA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA or MSc) and 8–10 years of banking finance experience. Strong analytical skills and leadership are essential, with proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant: CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Master’s degree in accounting & finance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely preparation of monthly tax statements and VAT/withholding tax compliance.
• Lead ICOFR program including process and entity-level controls testing and documentation.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors; support transfer pricing and OECD Pillar 2 work.
• Oversee cost control processes and reporting for management and EXCO.
