Job summary

ABB in Qatar seeks a Graduate Engineer in Electrical/ Electronic/ Instrumentation to lead and support service activities for System 800xA-based projects. The role focuses on delivering high-quality service, driving customer satisfaction, and identifying new service opportunities within ABB’s teams.

The position reports to the Project Manager, AUEN, and operates onsite within the PAEN division in Qatar. Strong technical and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer in Electrical/ Electronic/ instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years as customer support / project / service engineer on System 800xA based Infi90 / Symphony in Oil & Gas / Power & Water.
• Hands-on experience as Senior Engineer for 800xA-based control systems (hardware and software) with Infi90 / Symphony Plus / system 800xA applications – project & commissioning.
• Hands-on experience in system installation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work per customer order and expectations.
• Identify new service business opportunities for ABB in close cooperation with customer and other ABB teams.
• Coach technicians and engineers and supervise complex site activities.
• Provide multDiscipline support and validate designs in medium to complex projects.
