Job summary

QAFCO (Qatar Fertiliser Company) in Mesaieed, QA, is seeking an experienced Engineer to manage site supervision of instrument and electrical projects including online work and shutdown activities. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in electrical/instrumentation engineering with at least 10 years’ relevant experience in fertilizer/oil

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical/instrumentation/electronic/control engineering
Minimum 10 years relevant experience in Fertilizer, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
Extensive experience in field instrumentation, process control and safety shutdown systems

Responsibilities

Manage site supervision of instrument and electrical projects (online and shutdowns)
Oversee erection and installation on site per construction drawings
Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning and testing activities
Prepare field progress reports and KPI reports for construction activities
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and QA/QC during execution
Liaise with project teams for pre-construction reviews and risk assessments
