North Oil Company Qatar is seeking a senior Reservoir Engineer to lead EOR modelling and reservoir simulation efforts across its fields. The role emphasizes de-risking, development and execution of EOR methods, with polymer, surfactant or WAG experience and the ability to drive studies to a positive business case.

You will mentor junior colleagues, coordinate external studies, and present high-quality technical material to internal and external stakeholders to support field development decisions.

Competenze

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a reservoir engineer in the oil and gas environment, with at least least 3 years’ experience in a dedicated EOR role (Polymer, surfactant or WAG experience preferable).
• Ability to work independently and to be confident to make technical decisions without supervision.
• Capability to engage, communicate and network internally to ensure delivery of technical work
• A strong technical background and the confidence to contribute and lead technical discussions.

Mansioni

• Propose and design data acquisition programs to support EOR maturation.
• Lead EOR projects through the maturation process and external studies.
• Mentor junior team members on EOR modelling techniques and strategies.
• Develop EOR deployment strategies (pilot, small commercial pilots and large-scale deployment) with a positive business case.
• Produce high-quality presentation material for engaging internal and external stakeholders.
