Job summary

Rits Qatar is seeking an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer in Qatar to develop and review electrical deliverables for oil & gas projects. The role involves creating single-line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules and equipment specifications, while supporting procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning activities.

You will review vendor docs and participate in FAT/SAT and ensure compliance with international standards such as IEC, IEEE and NFPA.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
7-10 years of Oil & Gas experience.
Experience with electrical systems, installation, testing and commissioning.
Experience with EPIC projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and/or review electrical engineering deliverables.
Prepare single-line diagrams and load lists.
Create cable schedules and equipment specifications.
Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication and construction of electrical systems and packages.
Review vendor documentation and participate in FAT/SAT.
Support commissioning testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy electrical specifications and applicable international standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA).
Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve electrical interface issues.
