Job summary

Rits Qatar is seeking an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer in Qatar to develop and review electrical deliverables for oil & gas projects. The role involves creating single-line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules and equipment specifications, while supporting procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning activities.

You will review vendor docs and participate in FAT/SAT and ensure compliance with international standards such as IEC, IEEE and NFPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• 7-10 years of Oil & Gas experience.
• Experience with electrical systems, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Experience with EPIC projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or review electrical engineering deliverables.
• Prepare single-line diagrams and load lists.
• Create cable schedules and equipment specifications.
• Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication and construction of electrical systems and packages.
• Review vendor documentation and participate in FAT/SAT.
• Support commissioning testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy electrical specifications and applicable international standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA).
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve electrical interface issues.

• Experience in electrical systems, installation, testing, and commissioning
• Experience with EPIC projects preferred
