Job summary

IRM Energy & Technology in Qatar seeks an experienced Offshore Electrical Engineer to coordinate brownfield, shutdown, hook-up and commissioning activities offshore, ensuring safety, quality, integrity and alignment with project objectives.

You will supervise contractors, review deliverables, manage PTW coordination with Operations, and drive offshore safety culture while delivering on complex Oil & Gas construction campaigns.

Qualifications

• Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 8 years’ experience in large-scale Oil & Gas construction projects, including installation, fabrication, execution, completion, and hook-up.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate offshore safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate brownfield, hook-up, and commissioning activities to meet project objectives.
• Supervise contractors to ensure compliance with technical and contractual requirements.
• Review constructability, technical deliverables, and contractor progress.
• Coordinate PTW activities with Operations and contractors.
• Report non-compliances and close assigned safety actions.
• Promote offshore safety culture and participate in lessons learned.
