Job summary

Orion Group seeks a Senior Digital Project Engineer to lead digital product development and transformation initiatives in Doha, Qatar. The role requires coordinating with engineering, operations and IT teams to translate complex requirements into scalable digital solutions.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in digital product development or engineering-enabled improvement, with experience in energy or industrial sectors and familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.

Qualifications

Proven track record in digital product development and digital transformation.
6+ years experience in digital product development, digital transformation, or engineering-enabled improvement.
Experience delivering digital products, ideally in the energy or industrial sector.
Experience with digital transformation within Oil & Gas is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Oversee work performed by third parties and delivery partners, ensuring progress, quality, and deliverables.
Engage with business and technical stakeholders to translate operational needs into structured digital opportunities and requirements.
Lead Agile delivery practices and SDLC for enterprise digital platforms.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and data ecosystems (e.g., Azure, data lakes) and collaboration tools.
