Job summary

QatarEnergy is seeking a social media operations professional to govern and optimize its digital channels from Doha. The role oversees day-to-day publishing, content development, community monitoring and performance reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with corporate objectives.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in social/digital communications, fluency in English with basic Arabic, and strong analytical and stakeholder management skills to handle multiple priorities under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in social media operations, digital communications or corporate communications.
• Excellent proficiency in English and basic proficiency in Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, analytics tools, social listening systems and digital publishing processes.
• Experience in community management, content scheduling and digital reputation monitoring.
• Experience with social media advertising platforms, audience targeting tools, campaign analytics and digital performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the administration, governance, monitoring and optimization of QatarEnergy's social media channels.
• Responsible for managing day-to-day publishing operations, content scheduling, content development, community monitoring, channel performance reporting, digital risk identification, and stakeholder coordination to ensure QatarEnergy's social media presence is accurate, consistent, compliant and aligned with corporate communication objectives.
