SPIE Global Services Energy in Doha seeks a seasoned Contracts Engineer to plan, tender, negotiate and administer offshore and onshore maintenance contracts. You will collaborate with DUET, prepare tender documentation, and drive commercial evaluations to ensure compliant, cost-effective outcomes.
The role requires deep knowledge of C&P processes, risk management, and bidder prequalification, with a focus on international projects and multicultural collaboration.

To support the effective planning, tendering, negotiation, and administration of contracts for offshore and onshore maintenance activities, ensuring optimized production uptime, cost efficiency, compliance with company policies, and effective risk management within oil & gas operations.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Law, Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
Alternatively, Higher Secondary School Education with a three-year Technical Diploma (HNC, HND, or equivalent) may be considered with extensive relevant experience.
Minimum 8 to 12 years of postgraduate experience in Contracts and Procurement within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy industry.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Contracts Engineer or equivalent position.
Experience in offshore maintenance contracts is preferred.
Knowledge of tendering, contract negotiation, administration, and supplier management practices.
Advanced knowledge of Contracts & Procurement (C&P) processes.
Strong understanding of commercial bid analysis and contract negotiation.
Advanced competency in contracts technical disciplines.
Advanced certification in C&P tools and contract management systems is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and contract management software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent planning, organizing, coordinating, and control skills.
Effective stakeholder and relationship management capabilities.
Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work in multicultural and international environments.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
