Job summary

HBK Contracting Company W.L.L in Qatar seeks a Senior Construction Manager to lead all site activities from start to handover. The role requires extensive senior leadership with Tier-1 contractor background, overseeing multiple disciplines and coordinating with planning, procurement, QA/QC, and HSE teams to deliver high-rise and large-scale developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• 18–20 years of experience in major building construction.
• Minimum 12 years in senior construction leadership with a Tier-1 main contractor.
• Experience delivering high-rise, commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, mixed-use, or large-scale buildings.
• Previous experience in Qatar or the GCC is mandatory.
• MMUP (UPDA) registration and PMP certification are advantageous.
• Main contractor construction management experience essential; consultancy/PMC backgrounds not considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site construction activities from project commencement to handover.
• Manage Construction Managers, Site Engineers, Foremen, Supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, Commercial, and Logistics teams.
• Monitor construction progress, productivity, resources, and project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Lead site coordination meetings and resolve construction and technical challenges.

• Minimum 12 years in senior construction leadership with a Tier-1 main contractor
• Proven experience delivering high-rise, commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, mixed‑use, or other large‑scale building developments
• Previous experience in Qatar or the GCC is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, QA/QC, HSE, Primavera P6, and project execution
• MMUP (UPDA) registration and PMP certification are advantageous
• Main contractor construction management experience is essential (consultancy/PMC-only backgrounds will not be considered)
