Job summary

Wood is seeking a Principal Civil & Structural Engineer to join our team in Qatar on a long-term basis. This critical position within the Wood Doha office requires a minimum of 15 years of experience and enrollment on the Register of Engineers in Qatar or Chartered Engineer status. The role involves design and analysis of civil engineering works across various projects, particularly in the oil and gas sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering.
• Enrolled on the Register of Engineers in Qatar or be a Chartered Engineer.
• Proven experience in Oil & Gas sector.

Responsibilities

• Produce, review, and ensure the accuracy of civil engineering calculations and drawings.
• Design and analyze buildings, structures, and civil works.
• Supervise less experienced civil engineers and act as Lead Engineer.
