Job summary

A national oil and gas operator in Doha is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in structural design and construction, preferably within the oil sector. The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory skills, excellent communication abilities, and knowledge in project management. Responsibilities include conducting engineering activities, overseeing project drawings, and leading a multi-discipline engineering team. Fluency in English is essential, and a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Structural Design & Construction.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a must.
• Experience in projects’ pre‑commissioning, commissioning and hand‑over activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Civil/Structural Engineering activities throughout all stages of assigned projects.
• Review and approve method statements developed by contracted organizations.
• Lead technical team and assist Senior Project Engineer for technical matters.
