Job summary

AimGulf is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer (Offshore) in Qatar to provide technical design and engineering services for assigned offshore projects. You will ensure adherence to QatarEnergy procedures, balancing quality, schedule, cost and HSE factors across multi-project environments.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Engineering, 10+ years post graduate experience (6+ in Oil & Gas), and preferably Chartered Engineer status.

Qualifications

• 10 years post graduate experience, 6 years in Oil & Gas.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status preferable.

Provide technical design and engineering services in Civil/Structural Engineering (Offshore) for all assigned engineering projects. Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with QatarEnergy procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical design and engineering services in Civil/Structural Engineering (Offshore) for all assigned engineering projects.
• Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with QatarEnergy procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE.

Experience Required:

• 10 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven ability to manage time, cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment.

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent preferable.

Skills Required:

• Ability to identify and utilize relevant engineering standards and Codes related to Civil/ Structural Engineering (Offshore) Engineering.
• Good communications and presentations skills with fluency in English.
