Job summary

UCC Holding seeks an experienced Senior Estimation & Tendering Manager (Civil) to lead the cost estimation, tendering, and bid strategy for major civil and building construction projects in Qatar. You will guide multidisciplinary bid teams, assess commercial risks, and drive winning proposals to support strategic growth.

The role requires extensive experience in estimating, tendering, and contract administration, with strong leadership and stakeholder management to deliver accurate cost plans,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 12 to 15+ years of experience in estimation and tendering within the construction industry.
• Commercial buildings, residential projects, hospitality projects, institutional buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of detailed cost estimates for civil and building construction projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents to determine project costs.
• Perform quantity take-offs and validate project quantities.
• Develop cost plans, budgets, and pricing strategies for tender submissions.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, procurement, commercial, and operations teams to prepare comprehensive bids.
• Manage the complete tendering process from receipt of inquiry to final submission.
• Lead and mentor estimation engineers and tendering staff.
• Promote best practices and continuous improvement in estimation methodologies and processes.
• Facilitate collaboration among internal stakeholders throughout the bid process.
