Responsibilities

• Own BOQ coding, take-offs and full tender preparation in CCS.
• Build RFQ packages including specs, drawings, BOQ and terms.
• Coordinate with contracts teams for fixed-price terms.
• Lead tender comparisons with subcontractors and chair meetings.
• Present weekly tender updates to the Board and tender committee.

Job description

Guildhall is running a search for a main contractor delivering complex, high-value infrastructure and real estate projects across the GCC, building out its bid team to chase a heavy pipeline of mega-project tenders. As Estimation Manager, you will own BOQ coding, RFQ packages and technical-commercial sign-off on tenders before submission, reporting directly to the Executive Director and Projects Director. Growing its estimation function to compete for a wide range of large infrastructure and real estate projects. This is a rare seat with direct Board and tender-committee exposure on some of the region's largest live bids.

QAR 50,000+ per month, final package based on experience.

The role

• Own BOQ coding, quantity take-off and full tender preparation in CCS
• Build bespoke RFQ packages: specifications, drawings, BOQ and contract terms
• Coordinate with contracts teams to secure back-to-back, fixed-price terms
• Lead technical and commercial tables of comparison with subcontractors
• Chair subcontractor meetings on scope, programme, method and contract compliance
• Present weekly tender reports to the Board and final reviews to the tender committee
• Develop and execute bid-winning strategy across live tenders
• Hold cost-per-sqm and unit-rate KPIs to protect winning margins
• Own the full top sheet: direct and indirect costs, risk, overhead, escalation, finance, tax

What you'll bring

• B.Sc in Civil Engineering from a US or UK accredited university
• Experience at an international prime contractor on projects of $200m+ or more
• GCC project experience across major infrastructure or high-rise developments
• Hands-on BOQ coding in CCS, quantity take-off and RFQ package preparation
• A track record leading tender teams and presenting to Board or tender committee level
• Long-tenured career history with recognised construction firms
