Job summary

Live Connections Placements Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Estimation & Tendering Manager to lead end-to-end estimation, tendering, and proposal activities for EPC/EPIC projects in Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure, and MEP in Qatar.

The ideal candidate possesses 20+ years of professional experience, including 7 years in a senior estimation or tendering role, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with a proven track record in managing high-value bids and complex tender processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 7 years in a senior estimation, tendering, proposals, or managerial role.
• Strong EPC/EPIC contracting experience, preferably in Oil & Gas and Energy projects in Qatar or the GCC.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale tenders and projects valued at QAR 100 million or above.
• Knowledge of lump-sum/LSTK, unit-rate, reimbursable, and subcontracting models is advantageous.
• Exposure to Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, and MEP projects is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all estimation, tendering, and proposal activities.
• Review ITBs, RFQs, and tender documents to identify requirements, scope, and risks.
• Prepare and review cost estimates covering materials, manpower, subcontractors, equipment, and execution.
• Coordinate with technical, commercial, procurement, and project teams to develop competitive proposals.
• Manage high‑value, multidisciplinary tenders from intake to submission and post‑tender negotiations.
• Review bid documents, pricing, and terms to ensure client specifications compliance.
• Monitor tender results, maintain tender registers, and report performance to management.
• Lead and mentor the estimation team and coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

• Manage high‑value, multidisciplinary tenders from initial assessment through final submission and post‑tender negotiations.
• Review bid documents, pricing, and commercial terms to ensure compliance with client specifications.
• Monitor tender results, maintain tender registers, and report performance to management.
• Lead and mentor the estimation team and coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
