Job summary

Burjline Builders in Qatar is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to join the Finance team. You will manage AR operations, ensure accurate invoicing, monitor payments, perform reconciliations, and maintain records using SAP.

A minimum of 5 years AR experience and strong SAP knowledge are required. Responsibilities include invoicing, payment allocation, ageing reports, month-end closing, and collaborating with operations and clients to resolve disputes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional AR experience.
• Hands-on SAP for AR transactions mandatory.
• Knowledge of AR processes: invoicing, collections, reconciliations.
• Experience with AR ageing reports and month-end closing.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounts receivable activities: invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliation.
• Prepare, issue, and monitor customer invoices per terms and procedures.
• Record and allocate customer payments in SAP.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
• Prepare AR ageing reports and provide updates to management.
• Perform monthly customer account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate customer records, credit notes, debit notes, and docs.
• Coordinate with operations, commercial teams, and clients to resolve billing disputes.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities including AR reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Assist auditors with AR documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve invoicing, collections, and AR processes.
