Qualifications

Responsibilities

The role will be responsible for supervising security personnel, ensuring compliance with established security and safety procedures, maintaining effective access control, responding to incidents, and monitoring the performance of the contracted security service provider.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in security operations, guarding, or security supervision, with strong knowledge of access control, security procedures, incident handling, and personnel deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations and performance of contracted security personnel across assigned facilities.
• Monitor security staff compliance with approved security procedures, instructions, and operational controls.
• Prepare and monitor security duty schedules to ensure adequate personnel coverage at designated posts.
• Monitor facility entrances, exits, and controlled areas to ensure proper access control procedures are followed.
• Conduct routine inspections of security posts and assigned areas to verify compliance with required standards.
• Ensure the proper implementation of security and safety procedures across the facilities.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies and coordinate appropriate actions as required.
• Prepare accurate and timely incident reports and other security-related documentation.
• Coordinate with relevant departments, facility representatives, contractors, and other stakeholders on security and safety matters.
• Monitor the contracted security company's compliance with contractual requirements, service standards, and approved operating procedures.
• Identify security gaps or operational issues and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic reports covering security activities, personnel deployment, incidents, compliance, and service performance.
• Maintain appropriate records related to security operations, incidents, inspections, and personnel deployment.
• Ensure all assigned activities are carried out in accordance with established administrative, operational, and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties related to security operations as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or higher qualification in Security & Safety, Security Management, Management, or a related field.
• Relevant accredited professional certifications in security, safety, or security management.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in security, guarding, or security supervision.
• Previous experience supervising a team of security personnel is required.
• Experience managing or monitoring outsourced/contracted security services is highly preferred.
• Experience in large facilities, commercial properties, corporate premises, hospitality, infrastructure, or similar environments is an advantage.
• Good understanding of access control, security procedures, incident response, and security operations.
• Strong communication, coordination, observation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to security incidents and work under pressure.
