Job summary

An established industrial services client in Qatar seeks a Scaffolding Manager to lead end-to-end scaffolding operations and drive commercial performance across the country.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on, field-focused management of a large workforce and significant scaffolding inventory, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; relevant technical qualifications in scaffolding, construction or project management may also be considered.
• 10–15 years’ relevant experience in scaffolding operations.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, industrial construction/maintenance or major construction projects.
• Experience managing a large scaffolding workforce and substantial scaffolding inventory.
• Commercial and P&L management capability.
• Experience supporting tendering, estimating and pricing.
• Knowledge of scaffolding erection, modification, dismantling, inspection and rental operations.
• Strong leadership, client management and negotiation skills.
• Hands-on, field-focused leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead all scaffolding operations across Oil & Gas, petrochemical, industrial, infrastructure and construction projects.
• Manage the department’s operational, commercial and financial performance, including revenue, costs, utilization and profitability.
• Plan and optimize deployment of scaffolding manpower, supervisors, inspectors, materials and equipment.
• Take ownership of scaffolding inventory, ensuring maximum utilization and commercial return.
• Oversee project mobilization, execution, productivity, cost control, demobilization and resource redeployment.
• Manage departmental P&L and identify opportunities to improve margins, productivity and rental returns.
• Support tendering and estimation with manpower, material, productivity and execution inputs.
• Develop strong client relationships and identify new opportunities for scaffolding rental, material supply, installation and dismantling.
• Ensure strict compliance with QHSE, inspection and scaffolding safety standards.
• Lead, coach and develop supervisors and frontline scaffolding teams.

We are conducting a search on behalf of an established industrial services company in Qatar for an experienced Scaffolding Manager to lead the operational and commercial performance of a large-scale scaffolding business across Qatar.

Role Overview:

This is a senior operational and commercial leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for the company’s scaffolding operations,, alongside substantial scaffolding inventory deployed across Qatar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all scaffolding operations across Oil & Gas, petrochemical, industrial, infrastructure and construction projects

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; relevant technical qualifications in scaffolding, construction or project management may also be considered
• 10–15 years’ relevant experience in scaffolding operations
• Strong background within Oil & Gas, petrochemical, industrial construction/maintenance or major construction projects
• Proven experience managing a large scaffolding workforce and substantial scaffolding inventory
• Strong experience in project execution, manpower deployment and material utilization
• Demonstrated commercial and P&L management capability
• Experience supporting tendering, estimating and pricing is highly desirable
• Strong practical knowledge of scaffolding erection, modification, dismantling, inspection and rental operations
• Strong leadership, client-management and negotiation skills
• Ability to combine strategic leadership with a hands-on, field-focused approach
