Job summary

Swan Global is seeking an experienced Scaffolding Foreman in Qatar to lead erection crews on key oil and gas projects. You will supervise scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling, ensuring compliance with safety standards, procedures, and client specifications.

You will coordinate daily tasks, guide crews, and uphold HSE practices while delivering work on time and within plan, leveraging strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in a relevant field is preferred.
• Valid scaffolding certification is required.
• 2–3 years of Scaffolding Foreman experience in Oil & Gas.
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding erection/modification/dismantling procedures.
• Familiarity with project standards, safety requirements and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to guide scaffold crews.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Scaffolding Supervisor in supervising all scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling activities.
• Ensure scaffolds are constructed according to approved standards and project specs.
• Lead and coordinate scaffold crews in handling, transferring, storing, and disposal of materials.
• Conduct daily coordination meetings with crews to assign tasks and monitor progress.
• Oversee housekeeping and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Monitor site safety practices and ensure compliance with client safety policies.
• Identify and report issues, hazards, or deviations for corrective action.
• Ensure scaffold activities are executed efficiently and within timelines.
