Job summary

SPIE Global Services Energy in Doha, Qatar seeks a Maintenance Technician - Rotating Equipment to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair critical rotating assets, including turbomachinery and I&C systems, in oil & gas, LNG or power facilities.

The successful candidate will have 8–10 years of maintenance experience, with hands-on turbomachinery expertise, CMMS familiarity (SAP PM/Maximo) and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of maintenance experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, or Power Generation.
• Strong experience with rotating equipment, gas turbines and compressors.
• Solid I&C knowledge and hands-on turbomachinery expertise.

Responsibilities

• Act as Permit Performing Authority under Permit to Work process.
• Provide analysis on maintenance opportunities and risks to improve performance.
• Lead maintenance targets and safety culture across the team.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs for Process Safety and Plant Integrity.
