Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company. The role involves extensive technical input to a single discipline and collaboration across multiple disciplines to deliver reliable rotating equipment performance.

Responsibilities include periodic health surveillance, aiding operations to optimize unplanned shutdowns, and mentoring engineers to develop capabilities within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6 years’ experience in an oil and gas environment.
• Attain/maintain/acquired competence in accordance with the technical competence framework requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic health assessment surveillance of critical rotating equipment and report analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Provide technical information and expertise to other disciplines, engineering and non-engineering as required.
• Assist operations and maintenance managers in decisions for unplanned shutdowns due to machinery issues.
