Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician – Rotating Equipment to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical rotating equipment, with a strong focus on turbomachinery, Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems, and Solar Turbines equipment. The role requires extensive experience in maintaining high-value rotating assets within oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, or power generation facilities
Your main duties will be to: -
Act as a Permit Performing Authority to ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with the
Permit to Work process and company requirements.
Provide the Mechanical Supervisor with analysis and comment on maintenance opportunities and risks
in order to improve business performance.
Provide visible leadership to personnel to ensure maintenance targets are met.
Promote NOC core values by being a safety role model, showing trust, respect and commitment,
fostering collaboration across the organization.
Promote cost consciousness in order to embed a strong cost culture.
Drive an incident free environment by establishing and maintaining a strong incident free culture.
Actively participates in and promotes company health and safety campaigns, policies and procedures,
that ensures personal safety and that of colleagues at all times.
Ensure compliance with Operating Procedures and Guidelines to ensure Process Safety, Operational
Safety and Plant Integrity.
Carry out repairs to mechanical equipment and perform preventatve maintenance.
Contribute to identifying improvements in planned maintenance routines.
Prepare, isolate and make safe Mechanical equipment for maintenance.
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 8-10 years of maintenance experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, or Power Generation industries.
Strong experience with turbomachinery maintenance including gas turbines, compressors, and related rotating equipment.
Excellent Instrumentation & Control (I&C) background.
Hands-on experience with Solar Turbines equipment and control systems is mandatory.
Experience with vibration monitoring, condition monitoring, and troubleshooting of rotating equipment.
Familiarity with CMMS systems such as SAP PM, Maximo, or equivalent.
Good understanding of safety standards and maintenance best practices
