Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a qualified Rigging Specialist for on-site operations. The role focuses on lifting, rigging, and material-handling in Oil & Gas projects, ensuring adherence to approved lifting plans and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of rigging experience, a valid rigger certification if required by the project, and strong knowledge of equipment inspection and load calculations. Immediate availability is preferred for demanding site conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of rigging experience in Oil & Gas.
• Rigger certification from a recognized authority preferred/required per project.
• Good knowledge of lifting tools, tackles, slings, shackles, wire ropes and rigging techniques.
• Ability to understand load limits and lifting plans.
• Familiarity with crane hand signals and safe lifting practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out lifting, rigging, and material-handling activities safely according to approved lifting plans.
• Inspect slings, shackles, hooks, wire ropes, chain blocks, and other lifting accessories before use.
• Select suitable rigging equipment based on load weight, size, and lifting requirements.
• Assist crane operators and lifting supervisors during lifting operations.
• Use standard hand signals and radio communication to guide crane movements.
• Secure, balance, and control loads during lifting, shifting, and positioning activities.
• Follow approved lifting procedures, PTW, JSA, toolbox talks, and site safety requirements.
• Report damaged or unsafe lifting equipment immediately.
• Maintain good housekeeping within lifting and work areas.

• Good knowledge of lifting tools, tackles, slings, shackles, wire ropes, and rigging techniques.
  
• Ability to understand load limits, lifting plans, and basic load calculations.
  
• Familiar with standard crane hand signals and safe lifting practices.
  
• Experience in shutdown, turnaround, construction, or plant maintenance projects preferred.
  
• Good understanding of HSE, PTW, JSA, and lifting safety requirements.
  
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions.
  
• Immediate availability preferred.
