Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Doha is seeking an experienced Rigging Supervisor to lead all lifting activities on site.

You will supervise crew, ensure adherence to lifting plans and safety requirements, verify equipment certifications, and coordinate with crane operators and site teams. Immediate availability preferred; certification as Rigging/Lifting Supervisor required.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of rigging experience in Oil & Gas, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Valid Rigging / Lifting Supervisor certification from a recognized authority.
• Strong knowledge of lifting plans, rigging techniques, crane operations, and load calculations.
• Familiar with PTW, JSA, toolbox talks, and Oil & Gas HSE requirements.
• Able to read lifting plans, method statements, and technical documents.

• Ensure lifting operations are carried out according to approved lifting plans, procedures, and safety requirements.
  


• Verify the condition and certification of cranes, slings, shackles, wire ropes, chain blocks, and other lifting equipment.
  


• Conduct pre-lift meetings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments before lifting activities.
  


• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, lifting supervisors, and site teams during operations.
  


• Ensure correct rigging methods, load control, and safe positioning of materials and equipment.
  


• Monitor compliance with PTW, JSA, HSE, and site-specific lifting requirements.
  


• Stop any unsafe lifting activity and report non-conformities immediately.
  


• Maintain lifting records, inspection reports, and equipment certification documents.
  


• Provide guidance and supervision to rigging crews to ensure safe and efficient operation

• Strong knowledge of lifting plans, rigging techniques, crane operations, and load calculations.
  


• Good understanding of lifting equipment inspection, certification, and safe working load limits.
  


• Familiar with PTW, JSA, toolbox talks, and Oil & Gas HSE requirements.
  


• Experience in shutdown, turnaround, construction, or plant maintenance projects preferred.
  


• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  


• Ability to read and understand lifting plans, method statements, and technical documents.
  


• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions.
