Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a qualified Lifting Supervisor for immediate mobilization on site in the Oil & Gas sector. You will supervise all lifting and rigging operations, ensure compliance with lifting plans, and coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and HSE personnel to maintain safe site practices.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in lifting supervision, with certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor, preferably in Oil & Gas projects.
• Proven hands-on experience in lifting and rigging operations within industrial or Oil & Gas environments.
• Strong knowledge of lifting plans, crane operations, rigging practices, load calculations, and lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure lifting operations are carried out safely in accordance with approved lifting plans, procedures, and client requirements.
• Conduct pre-lift meetings, toolbox talks, and verify lifting equipment before use.
• Coordinate with riggers, crane operators, supervisors, and HSE personnel during lifting activities.
• Ensure cranes, lifting gears, slings, shackles, and related equipment have valid inspection and certification.
• Monitor critical and non-critical lifting operations and ensure compliance with PTW and site safety procedures.
• Identify lifting hazards and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
• Maintain lifting records, checklists, permits, and inspection documentation.

• Valid Lifting Supervisor certification from a recognized authority.
  
• Strong knowledge of lifting plans, crane operations, rigging practices, load calculations, and lifting equipment.
  
• Good understanding of PTW, JSA, toolbox talks, and HSE requirements.
  
• Ability to read lifting plans and coordinate complex lifting activities.
  
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
  
• Previous Ras Laffan / Oil & Gas site experience will be an advantage.
  
• Must be available to join immediately with a valid QID.
