Job summary

Primark in Qatar is seeking an experienced Department Manager to train, develop, and lead a department team on the shop floor to maximize sales and maintain excellent customer service standards.

You will ensure Sales Associates stay motivated and knowledgeable about the brand, and you will deputize for Store and Assistant Store Manager during absences; delegation, interviewing, and negotiation with customers and colleagues are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years retail experience.
• The ability to efficiently delegate tasks amongst a team, negotiate with customers and colleagues, and interview new hires, as needed.
• Excellent English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Train, develop, and lead a department team on the shop floor to maximise sales and reduce stock loss, while demonstrating excellent customer service.
• Deputize for the Store and Assistant Store Manager during periods of absence.
• Ensure Sales Associates are motivated and knowledgeable about the brand.
