Job summary

voco Doha Central is a pre-opening hotel in Doha, set to blend contemporary style with warm hospitality. As a Reservations Agent, you will guide guests from inquiry to booking, provide details on room types, rates, and hotel facilities, and enter reservations accurately in the PMS.

You will support the opening and ongoing operations, focusing on exceptional service, guest confidence, and memorable first impressions that encourage guests to choose voco. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Reservations Agent or Front Office Agent in a hotel.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Good understanding of hotel operations and revenue principles.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and guest-focused attitude.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handling room reservations via phone, email, and online booking channels with accuracy and efficiency
• Providing guests with information about room types, rates, hotel facilities, and local attractions
• Processing new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests
• Maximizing room revenue through upselling and promoting hotel services and packages
• Ensuring all reservation details are entered accurately into the property management system
• Maintaining effective communication with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, and other hotel departments
• Monitoring room availability and assisting with inventory management
• Responding promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and reservation-related concerns
• Supporting the successful opening and ongoing operations of the hotel

Every day is different,but you’ll mostly be:

• Handling room reservations via phone, email, and online booking channels with accuracy and efficiency
• Providing guests with information about room types, rates, hotel facilities, and local attractions
• Processing new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests

What we need from you

• Previous experience as a Reservations Agent, Front Office Agent, or Guest Services Agent within a hotel environment, preferably with knowledge of hotel reservation or PMS systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Good understanding of hotel operations and revenue principles
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, guest-focused attitude
