Job summary

voco Doha Central is seeking a Food & Beverage Service professional to deliver memorable experiences with warm hospitality. You will welcome guests, provide informed recommendations, take and serve orders, and support various F&B operations in a pre-opening hotel setting.

Applicants should have 1–2 years of F&B service experience, strong communication, and a passion for hospitality. You must be adaptable to night, weekend, and holiday shifts, with knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of F&B service experience, preferably in a 4-star hotel, upscale restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
• Great communication – you’ll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to.
• Positive attitude with a passion for delivering excellent hospitality.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• The flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to guests.
• Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately.
• Prepare and maintain restaurant, outlet, and service areas.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
• Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Promote menu items and apply suggestive selling techniques.
• Coordinate with Kitchen and F&B team to ensure smooth service.
• Operate POS and handle payments accurately.
• Follow hotel SOPs, HACCP, and health & safety standards.
• Assist with buffet, banquet, room service, and other F&B operations as required.

What we need from you

• Minimum 1–2 years of F&B service experience, preferably in a 4-star hotel, upscale restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
• The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) which can also involve bending and kneeling
• Great communication – you’ll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to
• Positive attitude with a passion for delivering excellent hospitality.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• The flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts
