voco Doha Central, a pre-opening hotel in the heart of Doha, seeks a Bellman to create a warm welcome from the moment guests arrive. You’ll provide seamless luggage assistance, anticipate guest needs, and deliver friendly, efficient service to ensure every guest feels valued and at home throughout their stay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Bell Services, Concierge, or Valet operations.
• Strong communication skills with guests and team members.
• Proven problem-solving abilities to turn issues into memorable moments.
• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests professionally and provide prompt luggage assistance.
• Escort guests to rooms and explain hotel facilities and room features.
• Deliver luggage, messages, and amenities accurately and securely.
• Handle luggage with care during arrival/departure, ensuring proper ID checks.
• Assist with guest transportation and coordinate transfers when needed.
• Maintain lobby and bell desk cleanliness and report safety concerns.
• Respond to guest inquiries with accurate information on services and local attractions.
• Coordinate with Front Office and other departments for a seamless guest experience.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Welcome guests professionally and provide prompt, courteous assistance with luggage and personal belongings.
• Escort guests to their rooms, introducing hotel facilities, room features, and essential information.
• Deliver luggage, messages, newspapers, amenities, and other guest requests accurately and within established service standards.
• Handle guest luggage safely during arrival, departure, storage, and retrieval, ensuring proper identification and security.
• Assist with guest transportation, including loading/unloading luggage and coordinating transfers when required.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the lobby, bell desk, guest areas, hotel buggies, and vehicles, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide accurate information on hotel services, transportation, and local attractions.
• Coordinate effectively with Front Office and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience, including support for VIP arrivals and special requests.

What we need from you

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Bell Services, Concierge, or Valet operations, preferably in a midscale or premium hotel
• Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to
• Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories
• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
