Job summary

Confidential seeks an experienced Group Tax Manager to lead the group’s direct tax function in Qatar. You will own corporate income tax compliance (State and QFC), WHT, contract reporting and tax authority inquiries, and oversee quarterly provisioning and Pillar Two matters.

You will supervise the Tax Officer and collaborate with Finance, external advisers and auditors while coordinating with UAE, Oman, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia teams on regional tax matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA or CTA; ADIT or equivalent is an advantage.
• 7–10 years of tax experience, Big Four or leading tax advisory or in-house multinational role.

Responsibilities

• Lead Qatar direct tax compliance for State and QFC entities and WHT, contract reporting and tax authority inquiries.
• Oversee tax audits, objections, and liaise with external advisors as needed.
• Provide regional direct tax oversight for UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and other jurisdictions.
• Lead quarterly and annual tax provisions under IAS 12 and Pillar Two provisioning.
• Coordinate OECD Pillar Two compliance, GloBE calculations and GIR disclosures.
• Manage Transfer Pricing Master/ Local Files and Country-by-Country Reporting in Qatar and other jurisdictions.
• Supervise Tax Officer and support VP Group Tax in reporting and projects.
