Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in tax compliance, advisory, government tax authorities, or revenue administration environments.
• Professional tax qualifications will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support tax compliance activities for a portfolio of entities.
• Review tax-related applications, submissions, and supporting documentation.
• Respond to taxpayer enquiries and provide guidance on compliance matters.
• Conduct risk assessments and assist with tax reviews and investigations.
• Support deregistration reviews and regulatory clearance processes.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and recommendations for senior management.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of tax guidance, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in system enhancement and digital transformation initiatives related to tax administration.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders on tax-related matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service delivery.
